Inspired by the memory of the very special scent of his mother's lipstick when she kissed him, Ralf Schwieger created Lipstick Rose. Wonderfully regressive yet infused with a modern twist of Hollywood glamour, this fragrance has the appealing allure of a lipstick smile scented with rose, violet and candy. He embodies a fascinating woman, half Gilda, half sophisticated salonière. Grapefruit and violet effectively showcase the rose notes of the fragrance against a backdrop of musk and vanilla with hints of vetiver and ambergris. A moving vision of glamorous femininity.
The perfumer:
Ralph Schwieger, who was born in Germany, keeps memories of the scent of forests, moss and wood from his childhood. A chemist by training, he joined Roure Bertrand Dupont at the age of 30. His technical skills, which were already pronounced at the time, enabled him to translate his ideas into fragrance compositions. He describes his craft as a "construction game", which he approaches half intellectually, half intuitively. After a mentally demanding conception phase, a lengthy phase of sensual perception begins. His extremely structured handwriting and his desire to create perfumes that stand out from the crowd give Schwieger's work a very personal touch.
