A tribute by perfumer Fabrice Pellegrin to the masterpieces of the Impressionist painters: Au bord de l'eau by Claude Monet and Le Déjeuner sur l'herbe by Edouard Manet are at the heart of these two new fragrances.
Inspired by Monet's painting, Au Bord de l'eau treats raw materials as if they were paint pigments. As in the work of the famous painter, it oscillates between the apparent realism of bergamot and lemon, whose freshness merges with bitter orange petals and with lively base notes. The painter suggests the contours of the houses reflected on the water.
The Pellegrin to the citrus fumes adds a green and aromatic note of rosemary but also violet and soft musk notes.
