To celebrate its 60 years, Diptyque travels back with a collection inspired by an iconic cultural route, the Grand Tour.
The third stage of the journey is in Greece Milies. During the summer, the founders of Diptyque rented a house in this village not far from Mount Pelio. To get there it was necessary to follow the mountain paths. The clues to this scented oval retrospective of the roads coming from the coast back to the Pelio. The spicy scent of the Elichrisan blends with the fresh Mediterranean wind before heating up next to the fig trees bathed in the sun. In the composition, the hot-cold combination of aromatic spice and boisé notes evokes the contrasts and richness of this journey through the heart of Greece.
The pearls that embellish the perfumed oval are inspired by a Christiane GauTrot necklace, while the nappa that accompanies it draws on elements of Greek craftsmanship.
