The first SENSAI artist collaboration. Since time immemorial, writing and symbols have been a celebrated art form in Japan, referred to as shodo - the way of writing. In the Edo epoch in the 17th century, this developed into its own style of calligraphy, combining rhythm, feeling, aesthetics and spirituality. Each calligrapher's characters reflect their individuality and mood. As a symbol of anchoring in the Japanese art and cultural heritage, SENSAI has entered into its first artistic cooperation with the Japanese calligrapher Suitou Nakatsuka. Suitou Nakatsuka's passion for calligraphy began at the age of four. Today she can look back on a number of honorable prizes and her work can be admired all over Europe... ...and for the first time exclusively for SENSAI on selected care and make-up key products! The design tells of the subtle concepts of traditional Japanese art. They deal with purism and open as well as emotional space. Light, passing clouds of ink show an ever-changing landscape like a woman's ever-changing beauty.
