SUITOU NAKATSUKA Japanese calligrapher Suitou Nakatsuka started calligraphy at the age of four and earned a college degree in Chinese literature. Her expressive brushwork can be admired on washi paper, earthenware, glass, film, etc. in Japan and overseas. In 2016 she was invited to exhibit her work at the Société Nationale des Beaux-Arts, where she was awarded both the Médaille d'or (Gold Medal) and the Prix du Jury invité (Special Jury Prize).
